Few days ago on 25.3.2006, Fm turned 6years old, im late at posting this news since i was in thailand for a month and have just returned.
Mayby next year when we turn 7years old we will finaly have a Fm movie.I hope all the old monkeys that are not around anymore are doing fine.
A new Clanbase cup season is just starting and again we will be playing in it ;) |

The next generaion of monkeys started in the morning of thursday 16.9.2004 when Jode one the more active monkeys;) became a father to a beatifull little girl monkey that weight total of 3480grams.
congrats jode and your monkey wife! hope to see the little one praccing in 5-10years or sooner depends how much computer time she will get from the dad;) |

Finaly the FlagPack for ut2004 has been released. Some maps do look promissing and we will see how well they will be taken by the community.

First i would like to give a warm welcome to jode who has joined the Monkey family!. Finaly we get a new monkey from Finland to keep our finnish mentality in order;) jode joined us after his clan ze7en became inactive.
Also the CB hosted CTF cup is over for us we lost to our friends Liquid with 1 cap and finnished 3rd in our pole meaning no playoffs for us again.
We like everyone else has been invited to join the European Master Cup for ut2004 CTF more on that issue soon. |

We have our first match in the CB Hosted cup a while back and we managed to win over our friends COW in a 3map war.
Our week2 match vs Ocrana was wildcarded by Ocrana and it will be played later.
We also played a game in the ladder and our winning streak was broken by BugX hoping for a re-match with them soon;) |

About time for a update on the site, as you can see on our wars section we have now played 2 official ut2004 wars, we lost to DOAbut managed to win against COW. Both games where very nice and thnx again to DOA and COW for some good times.
So what next? well we are trying to play few praccys every week and ofcource continue to play in the clanbase ut2004 ctf ladder hopefully we will see a clanbase hosted ctf cup soon for some cup action! |

UT2003 OC is over for us

Luckily we didnt qualify for the playoffs in the ut2003 in the clanbase ut2003 open cup this season, well no wonder we didnt make it thanks to the ut2004 demo;)
Anyway the last match of the cup was played agaisnt f2 where we had some problems with pausing anyway i guess that was a gg;)
now we will be focusing on UT2004 atleast CTF and mayby even ONS will be among the "mods" the monkeys will funk.
btw look forward for something funky later this week;) |

Tanel Rebane has released a hack to get TTM brightskins partly working with the ut2004demo. The skins are abit fucked up but still make wonders for the game.
To use the brightskins you need 3 files from ut2003/ttm, check the readme in the zipfile for more info.

Yup it's true Epic released the UT2004 Demo last night euro time.
From the first imperssions of the monkeys seems like UT2004 will be the game UT2003 should have been.
Also i talked with badct\guard who liked the demo but tought it needs some tweaking and |f|hijon who simply said he hated it. Their main points seemed to be the weapon balance and few other things.
Well noone has really played the game yet so cant really say yet what the majority will think... we will see that after a while i only have 2h of playtime in so might be that my opinion will change but so far so good for me... |

Clanbase ut2003 ctf cup is starting next week.
Since our lack of activity (no praccs) the monkeys will be playing this season in the respected div2. We are seeing this cup as something to do while we wait for the ut2004 to be released and bring back the monkey(read team) spirit so that if ut2004 is actuly worth playing we have the funky attitude ready for another saga in the unreal series.
Hopefully this cup will be alot of fun and let's see if we can actuly win some games... |

Yesterday we had a pracc against our friends in MpX and it was fun! our very first game in a longlong time! it went better than expected since no one of us had played the game for a long while. MpX won the first map CamperCrossing 4-2 but we managed to win them on Chrome 3-0!!! it was a very enjoyable game and we really had a good time thnx for the game again guys!
Also we joined the CB cup and hopefully we can finnish it this time.
If you didnt know we shared bronze with MD on the CB DDOM cup so we finaly got a trophy!!!! wuhuuu ;) |

Also a little status update we had to drop from the UT2003 CTF cup a long while back becouse of lack of players also we lost the semifinal on the DDOM cup so we are up against MD on the bronze game.
Luckily Cyber will be released from military service now and legendary Elove has ordered a new computer.... so let's see what happens in the future;) |

Like you all must know Fm has been playing on both DDOM and CTF ut2003 cups on CB this season here is a update:
CTF-Cup: not going all that well becouse we have been very inactive for the past 5weeks and if you want to win in the DIV1 you need to play the game alot;) and we had use our wildcard against BugX last sunday.
DDOM-Cup: DDOM is more of a DM skill than anything else in my opinion so we have managed to do very well so far and finnished 1st in our group. soon the playoffs start and we have to face some stronger clans... let's see what happens! |

Our ever so active monkey Zimeon decided to do a Fan Kit for ut2003 for all our meany fans out there! (i know we have atleast 2 fans!)

Ok so the clanbase cup season has started. This season we are playing in UT2CTF and UT2DDOM cups.
This week we played our first matches in the cup's and managed to win both of them! a good start to a cup for a change;) Read more about the war's in Clanbase.
Also i'm happy to say we have recruited 2 new monkeys to our family they are:

We decided to get our k-play server. It´s pretty expensive but a very good server located in germany.

Last weekend at assembly demoparty was also a duel competition where Zygote was keeping up the monkey "flag" even thow we are a CTF-clan Zygote managed to place 3rd in the combo! Congrats.
Zygote had this to say:
Well i almost got to the final, because i lost only with 1 frag to Gibber. And there were some guys standing behind me and trying to annoy me when i was playing vs him :P. 3rd place is nice.. i know many things what i can do with 80e :D |

Tonight we had our first official after our summer brake.
i'm glad to say we managed to win against the nice guys from [-u-]nderground .
Bleunt finaly got a mic, but zygote was playing from assembly party so we only had 4 speakers on voicecom as usual...

It's true boys&girls Monkeys are back in business after a 7week vacation from playing!
Tonight we had a friendly praccy with our friends clan liquid.
We managed to win Chrome 2-0 and made a nice 2-2 on ProgressiveSteel that is a new map to us and also was for the liquid guys... opinions about the map are twisted among the monkeys some like it some dont (i dont).
It's still too damn hot but i hope we can do some gaming atleast from know on;) |

Fm IRL-movie is now released! me and Zimeon made this movie about a month ago at midsummer in turku.
After alot of thinking to release or not to release tonight we where drunk enought to release this art work!
The movie is a total joke and has kinda diffrent sence of humor, we hope you get the humor and enjoy the movie!

Its Juhannus here and we are now starting to fire up our kokkos. Things have been good to us lately. As someone in roger wilco said we are "german killers" we defeated 3 german clans in 1.5 weeks. The summer is here atlast after a cold winter it's nice to feel the warm sun...
Well back to the business for a while we play Angeldust lastnight in a 1 good map and 1 laggy map for a change the lag was with as and we managed to win 5-4.
The monkeys will be in somekind of summer vacation mostlikely a month at one point and few extra weeks it seems not realy sure yet.
hopefully we get some more good games before the vacation starts anyway we want to wish you all a good summer and remember to go outside time to time;) |

We played the long waited re-match against Fear a while back and lost hopefully we will have a re-re-match soon;)
Also we Played against the nice guys from ÐØÅ and won.
And last night we played against Diamond who also showed that they have gotten better at the game than they where durin the cup (we lost both times) it was a good game and hope to play you guys again in the future. |

Welcome Repe and zimeon to the monkey family!
Repe is a old monkey from ut1 times. He left the monkey business to keep his mind on TDM, but now he is back! Repe will still continue to play TDM on Elysium but will focus his CTF energy to the monkey family!

Yesterday we played our first official UT game in a long time. we where spanked hard by Erase (powered with old cx players). Game was 2xorbital servers where leikkipuisto (some of the monkeys had problems there;() and laginen.net server. it's nice to be back in UT!

Our new webpages are finaly done. Alot of things will need to be fixed and added before we are 100% happy with the new website.
The wars page is still missing all our CUP wars that is about 60 or so wars they will be added soon.
Also take a look at our download section that will grow when we get good ideas what to put there (empty now almost).
We will be adding a public forum if we can think for a reason to do so why have another empty forum eating up the internet?;)

We played our first game in the ut2003 CTF ladder against Brut/\l we managed to win the first map 10-0 (shot) and they refused to play the second map since we SPAM too much lol:). Even if the first clan we played was "lame" it it's nice to be in business with ut2003!
ut2003 is very much diffrent from ut but we the monkeys are starting to like it very much. Hopefully we will see alot of clans popup and start playing this awesome game;) |
